With QXONI Type, you can easily switch between different languages and input layouts. This simplifies writing when communicating regularly in multiple languages. The system automatically adapts the key arrangement (e.g., from QWERTZ to QWERTY) based on the selected language.
🌐 Available Configuration Options
- Keyboard Layouts Add as many regional layouts as you need to quickly switch via the spacebar or the globe icon.
- Ergonomic Split-Layout Splits the keyboard into two halves to optimize typing on larger screens or tablets in landscape mode.
How to add a new language:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to System > Languages & Input and select QXONI Type.
- Tap on the Languages & Layout Options section.
- Select Add Language and activate your preferred layout from the list.
ℹ️ Important Translation Notice: QXONI Type exclusively optimizes the input layout and local auto-correction for your selected language. For full text translations in real time or to convert entire text blocks into another language, you will need to use the external Google Translate (Google Übersetzer) service. Simply copy your text into the translator app or utilize its corresponding system extension.
Quickly Switching Layouts On the Go
Once you have configured more than one language, switching while typing is seamless: simply press and hold the spacebar or tap the globe icon next to it to immediately swap to the next layout in your loop configuration.
